Just north of Seattle, Washington in the Fremont neighborhood sits this unique piece of public art.  The Fremont Troll lies under the north end of the George Washington Memorial Bridge.  The Troll was built by four local artists in 1990 and is made of concrete, wire, and steel rebar.  The VW Beetle in the troll’s hand is an actual VW Beetle which gives some scale to this 18 foot tall troll.

  1. Hi, I was wondering if I could use this image in a digital publication I’m working on about Seattle? We’d be more than happy to credit the photo any way you like.

Meaning if your publication is more like a personal blog than a commercial online magazine then you can use it with credit: Photo by Michael Matti (www.travelphotoadventures.com).
But if it is profit generating than some type of monetary compensation is needed for commercial use of images.
